Dripmov as a kids’ athleisure brand addresses challenges like lack of cheerful options, design monotony, limited variations, affordability concerns, sizing issues, no inclusivity, and gaps in awareness of the benefits of functional, all-purpose clothes. It also stems from a deep-rooted desire to make each set of kids’ clothing multi-task for sports and leisure activities, equally. 

Because kids these days resist changing their wearables five times a day for various movements. Which means a kid staying in our tee, pair of tracks, vest, or pair of shorts could be for long periods during the day, most days of the week (unless one is sweating or is dirty). Each set of Dripmov clothing worn after school becomes long-term. It could be for finishing homework, playing games with legs curled up on a swivel chair, lounging on the couch to watch TV, doodling away with colours while feet kicking up air, or sprinting out for timely sports or learning classes. 

Dripmov products boast user-friendly functional twists for shape retention and sustained wear-and-tear. The cuts have curvy piping lines, soft elastics, comfy drawstrings, concealed zippers, snug raglan or drop sleeves, wide ankles, easy waist bands, and more. An extra tab here, a line there, a cord here, a width there—constructional details for movement to bring in smiles and ease.

Drip + Mov = Dripmov

When we think Generation Alpha, or Generation Beta, cool slang and incessant activity come to mind. Derived from their lingo, our brand takes in two words as portmanteau: A) Drip from drippin' or drippy, which in kid’s language means cool, awesome and stylish. B) Mov from comforting movement or activity, which parents and kids enjoy for mental growth and physical living.

Dripmov kids love real, dynamic movement as much as virtual, static gaming. They love all things fun and serious at the same time. They define the digital generation but with consciousness and empathy. They are more aware of health than their earlier generations. They enjoy activities outdoors and love curling up indoors, equally. They read with their hearts, watch movies with intensity, and speak their minds with sensitivity. They dream of rainbows and dragons, but they dream of a better planet and future, a tad more.

Founder

Meet Our Founder

Dripmov’s story has a management grad, corporate professional-turned-mompreneur Priya Meena as its founder and her son Advait at its inspirational core. When Advait was a toddler, finding appropriate sizes, happy colours, cool text, and cushy fabrics in India was hard for Priya. Except from international brands, which mostly had grown-up vibes, cuts and colours. In 2023, Priya then set out to use her latent business acumen to invest her time and energy into building happy athleisure Dripmov via steady, production chains and collaborations. And it in return, built in another sense of purpose for her as a mom, who after her stint with some big fours and IBM, took a conscious choice to be the CEO of her home for over eight years. This engineer from Mody Institute and MBA from Symbiosis, today, brings in an authentic blend of technical-and-business expertise and maternal insight to the world of athleisure for kids through the brand. Now, tee by tee, track by track and more, the mother, her son, and his friends have a blast developing, experimenting, and photographing joyous, functional athleisure.
